Host Families Needed For New Exchange Students
Tuesday 13 March 2012

The School requested we put this letter on our website in the hope that Old Boys and their families may be able to assist.

Dear Mr Ludowyke,

I hope I can ask you to place the following notice into your newsletter. This would help me to contact the school community in the only way I am able to and let everyone know that, if they would like to host an exchange student on a voluntary basis, they can do so by contacting me and finding out how to go about it.

Although it is becoming more difficult to find families willing to host someone voluntarily because they like the idea of another young person in the family, I feel it is still possible. Hope you can help.

Please feel free to let me know if you are not able to assist me in informing the school community in this way.

Girls and boys aged 15-18 from Italy, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Japan, Brazil, Sweden and Austria are hoping to come here to study for 5 or 10 months from July this year but need a willing volunteer family to host and welcome them. If you feel you could do this for them for the length of their stay or even some of it, please contact Klaus Schumann on (03)97584279 and let me know of your interest.

Yours sincerely,
Klaus Schumann
