Vale – Dr. David Thomas Baring (10 October 1963 – 28 February 2019).

At Melbourne High, he did well academically, served in the Cadets, was Form Captain and played in the 2nd XVIII. He went on to do dentistry at the University of Melbourne. He was a greatly respected dentist in Hamilton, Victoria and a popular figure in the community. He and his wife had three sons. He had an aggressive form of blood cancer. His older brother John, also attended MHS.
