Charles migrated with his parents from France when he was 1, part of the post war migration of Jews to Australia.  Charlie and his brother Nathan both started at MHS in 1965, his brother from Caulfield Central School, whilst Charlie came from Caulfield High School to complete his Matriculation.  A Commonwealth Scholarship lead to a Commerce Degree at Melbourne University and a career as an Accountant.
