Vale John Francis Kilby

John Kilby passed away at the Regis Aged Care Facility in Camberwell, where he resided with his wife, Bet Kilby. He was aged 96 years.

Like my father, I know that he had a deep affection for MHS. Whilst at MHS, he was a keen Cadet and rose to the position of the Units, Regimental Sergeant Major. He was very proud of being an RSM of the MHSCU.

He was active in business and owned a company called Kaylock that specialised in marketing Hardware Items.

Throughout his life, he keenly followed the Hawthorn Football Club, a family trait, but also frequented the MHSOBA Football, being a keen supporter of Old Boys Football.

John was a family man who was immensely proud of his children, Jeff & Judy and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
