Annual Dinner Wednesday 30 October 2024

Hosted by MHSOBA President Colin Axup (MHS 1984), this year’s distinguished guest speaker is Mr James Zong (MHS 2014).  

A classical pianist of the new generation, James has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, having won first prize in the East Coast International Competition 2017 (USA). He was also the first prize winner of the Melbourne International Piano Festival Competition 2019 and has received the Victorian Premier’s Award for Music Performance.

In addition to sharing his remarkable story and achievements, James will perform a series of select works from the classical repertoire.  We look forward to a world-class performance with great anticipation.
