Vale – Dr. Brian Alexander Brigham (25 August 1944 – 11 July 2020).

MHS 1962 – 1963

Brian transferred from Waverley High School to complete his Matriculation, for which in his Honours year (or the return season as the form notes called it) he received Honours in Physics and Chemistry as well as a Commonwealth Scholarship. Brian and his Egyptian born wife, Dahlia, were in the news in 2011 when they were caught in Egypt during the revolution, being interviewed from the crowded and chaotic airport that they were unable to get a flight from. He also started a weekly Dance for Parkinson’s at the Kogarah School of Arts, following the onset of the disease. Brian found that the dance classes lifted his sprits.
