Max William Boyce, T.P.T.C., B.Com., M.Ed.
11 November 1935 – 25 September 2022
MHS 1951-1952

Max transferred from Hampton High School to complete his Leaving and Matric.  He was selected for the 2nd XVIII in
1951 and promoted to the 1st XVIII in 1952 and also played for Waterloo.  Academically excellent, he received Matric Honours in English Expression, Modern History, British History and Social Studies.  Max then joined the Education Department, and entered the Toorak Teachers’ College in 1953, before transferring to the Secondary Teachers’ College.  He first teaching appointment was to State School 4747 in Clayton in 1958.
