Raymond Charles Simpson

A student from Lloyd Street Central School, he joined the Army, serving in the 65th Australian Bulk Issue Petrol and Oil Depot Platoon as a Private.  In 1948 he joined the Commonwealth Public Service, in the Department of Army.  He married Emilia Terese Bucci in 1958.  After 30 years in Public Service, he retired in 1978 from the Department of Aboriginal Affairs.  He died aged 99.
